just another morning at office

Three cubicles ahead of me, the printer is spewing out non-stop prints. A little to its right side, and comparatively closer to me, some people from another department are involved in mildly disturbing discussions. Somewhere somebody’s land line phone is ringing. There is this general office murmur of people talking, papers being turned, footsteps falling and taking people near or far, some clicks of the ceramic cups when they strike the desks and above, below, around all this, a faint fragrance of Gulzar’s songs being played in a nearby cabin… aapki aankhon mein kuch, mehke huye se khwab hain...

And as this morning madness happens, there is someone quietly drafting a blogpost! N also quietly tweeting it to his dear frnd ..

The friend leaves all her work n quickly reads, comments, hugs n takes leave

Hugs
Nadhi

this is what we say the Indian way of working finding your peace in the chaos surrounding us!!

In the clitter-clatter of the office, I slowly put mah headphones on and start listening to George Micheal, away from all the noise and chatter. In my own world I am talking to frnds from their world. Ah! and I read this lovely post. Adds another dimension to how I look at just another morning at office.

Very nice.

Cheers!

Adee, So the morning madness is there to everybody & it's so peculiar that some own write a blog post on it saying small small things happening around us. You know that's why sometimes I can early to office when nobody is around there, which helps me to start the day very peacefully :-)

But we miss u in twitter... #twugs

... and another bloggie friend 10000 miles aways starts her workday and shakes her head at how similar our work environments sound (minus the hindi song) :)
btw love these words a faint fragrance of Gulzar’s songs being played and I love that song.

Nice observations great post

In my own cliched way I would have...

Last line>> and away from all this humdrum in a distant cubicle bent over my keyboard I continue to tweet in peace.

Title>> confessions of a twitterhollic

:-) Bye
